This updated version introduces ten new wavetables, including Async PWM and FM variations, alongside two new filter types, a fresh delay effect, and a reverb borrowed from Nexus 4’s renowned RutaVerb. Additionally, a new distortion effect and synchronized LFOs expand sound design possibilities, complemented by 136 brand-new factory presets to inspire your creativity.

The advanced librarian system in Vanguard 2 provides an intuitive way to organize and access your sounds with three columns for easy navigation, color-coded tags, bookmarks, and favorites. It allows seamless browsing of presets with features like instant sound preview, search-as-you-type functionality, and filtering by categories and tags, making it faster to find the perfect sound. All previous Vanguard expansions are included at no extra cost, and the software maintains full compatibility with existing Vanguard 1 projects and libraries, so you can effortlessly load your older sounds into your current workflow.

Originally, Vanguard offered powerful analog modeling synthesis with three oscillators and up to 32 voices, featuring 31 different oscillator types and 13 filter options with resonance. It includes multiple LFOs and ADSR envelopes with versatile modulation targets, an amplifier with drive control, and a flexible arpeggiator along with a trancegate for rhythmic effects. The built-in delay and reverb effects are tempo-synced to your host, providing a cohesive and dynamic sound shaping environment.
