PanCake is a free panning modulation plug-in designed to bring dynamic movement to your audio projects. It allows you to craft intricate pan modulations effortlessly, making it ideal for adding depth and interest to your mixes. The plug-in features intuitive waveform drawing capabilities, letting you design modulation curves with either smooth or sharp transitions by using soft or hard breakpoints.
Users can save up to ten custom waveforms, providing quick access to favorite modulation shapes for different tracks or sessions. The LFO speed is highly flexible, adjustable from a very slow 0.02 Hz up to 5.24 kHz. It supports free-running mode as well as synchronization with your host sequencer, enabling rhythmic modulation from rapid 1/128 note cycles to extended 32-bar patterns. This ensures the LFO remains perfectly in sync even when tempo changes or song navigation occurs.
PanCake offers comprehensive automation capabilities, allowing full control over all parameters including waveform shape and modulation curve switching. Version 2 introduces enhancements such as a precise visual display of channel left/right volume, MIDI-triggered LFO options, a dry/wet control for blending, and a redesigned user interface for improved workflow.
