Frohmage is a multi-band resonant filter designed to create a wide range of distinctive sounds. It excels at producing everything from smooth, slow filter sweeps to intense, aggressive tones by utilizing high resonance settings combined with rich distortion effects.
This filter features a highly resonant low-pass section with flexible cutoff frequency options, allowing selection in either Hertz or musical notes. It supports up to 15 additional harmonically distributed bands, each equipped with a delay function that generates unique phaser-like effects, expanding the sonic possibilities.
Frohmage also includes a distortion stage with two different routing options for creative sound shaping. Its MIDI control is exceptionally precise, offering 14-bit accuracy for smooth parameter adjustments. Despite its complex processing capabilities, Frohmage maintains a low CPU load, making it practical for intensive music production environments.
