Diva is a powerful and versatile synthesizer that offers a wide range of sound design capabilities, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced producers.
BFD3 is the third generation of a renowned software acoustic drum studio, delivering unmatched realism and innovative features through a redesigned engine. It supports Apple’s M-series chips natively, eliminating the need for Rosetta and ensuring optimal performance on Mac M1 and M2 ARM systems. The update introduces seven new kits recorded in two premier studios, with dedicated collections for rock, metal, jazz, and brush styles, all optimized to provide high detail while using less disk space. Enhanced modelling technology adds natural tom resonance and cymbal swells, elevating the expressive quality of each drum sound.
The revamped interface offers a streamlined workflow, featuring a new mixer and sound browser that simplify kit assembly and sound design. Users can customize drum sounds extensively by retuning, damping, and processing multiple microphones within a powerful internal mixing engine. The built-in groove section includes a comprehensive range of drum performances and editing tools, allowing for the creation of realistic drum parts with access to a wide variety of musical rudiments. Signature grooves from respected drummers add to the creative possibilities.
BFD3’s extensive sound library contains up to 80 velocity layers per instrument, including detailed articulations like rim-clicks, rim-shots, and cymbal splashes, all compressed efficiently to reduce storage and playback demands. The internal mixing engine integrates DCAM-modelled effects such as compression, EQ, and algorithmic reverb, with flexible routing options for external processing. Workflow improvements enable easier mixing by hiding unwanted mics and exporting multi-channel audio directly to disk. This combination of detailed sound design, workflow enhancements, and high-quality effects makes BFD3 a powerful tool for producing realistic acoustic drum tracks.
